Nutrition Talk Ariel Smith Ariel Smith 10:30 - 11am (Chronic Illnesses and Your Health)

Ariel Smith is a graduate of Charlotte Catholic High School and is now a Sophomore at THE Clemson University. She is pursuing a Food Science major, along with a Chemistry minor. Her goal is to bring more light to how the importance of uplifting the community begins with a healthy lifestyle. Through her partnership with the Miss South Carolina Organization, she spreads the importance of health and wellness across the state. Her experience in educating the community has also been implemented with the Clemson University Sports Nutrition Department, as she is an on-site intern.

She aspires to leave her own ‘mark’ as a person who avidly continues to bring attention to bring global health changes among the community. Hence, she has been the recipient of the President's Community Service Award for three consecutive years with over 1000 total hours of community service. She has aspirations to work with the government food agency once she graduates.
